Sponsor Programs

Sponsors are local businesses, Councils and Clubs who support the Police Officer of the Year Awards by providing much needed funding and pro bono support in exchange for numerous promotional and marketing benefits listed below. Proceeds from the Awards are given to nominated youth programs within the area. These programs are listed under the section on Youth Programs.

Gold Sponsorship - $2,000

  1. Your Logo on top of nomination form for Rotary Police Officer of the Year Awards

Silver Sponsorship - $1,000

How to Become a Sponsor

Sponsorship enables the smooth running of these awards.  Surplus funds are donated to local youth programs. Platinum sponsors are major sponsors. The value of their donations is greater than $5,000. They receive prominent placing on the website and in all advertising and promotions.

There are 3 other levels of Sponsorship:

  1. Gold - The value of their donations is $2,000. They receive recognition on the website and at the top of all advertising and promotions.
  2. Silver - The value of their donations is $1,000. They receive recognition on the website and at the sides of all advertising and promotions.
  3. Bronze - The value of their donations is $500.  They receive recognition on the website and at the bottom of all advertising and promotions.

Promotional  Opportunities:

  • The Community Police Officer of the Year Awards Website - this highly ranked website will be promoted throughout the community and the QLD Police Service. You will have a link from this website to your website. There will be links to and from the QLD Police Service's Website and Rotary International District 9600 Website.
  • - the following will appear:
    • 1/2 page advertisement and editorial
    • 3 weekly x 1/4 page advertisements
    • 1/4 page advertisement (nomination close)
    • A special 'winners' feature will occur after the announcement of the awardees
  • Promoting throughout High Schools - Police Youth Liaison Officers will be visiting all High Schools to promote the awards.  Students are encouraged to vote online!
  • Posters are distributed throughout the relevant areas  to promote the awards.
